In the same way that preparing a property for sale ensures that it attracts the attention of more buyers and the sale can be made in a shorter period of time, when we decide to rent a property, we must also think about certain aspects that improve the property in order to reach a greater number of tenants and rent it sooner.

Regardless of our taste in decoration, there are certain basic aspects to take into account to improve the appearance of a property and rent it in a short period of time:

Giving a fresh look with paint

To give the property a new and renovated look, the best thing to do is to paint it, opting for white or pastel colours that serve to enlarge the space.

Optimise the lighting

If the house has good natural light, make the most of it with open, light curtains that let the light in. If there is no natural light, you should organise points of light that favour the space in all the rooms.

Updated kitchen and bathrooms

To give the impression that the home is complete, it is best that the kitchen is fitted, and that the bathroom also has the newest fittings possible.

Opt for neutral and functional decor

It is best not to go for very specific styles but rather stick with a more neutral and functional style of decor in the property. This does not have to mean that the decor is not personal, you can include small details that help tenants who visit the property to imagine themselves living there. Within the decoration, the sofa and the bed are two key elements that must be enhanced so that tenants will choose to settle in our home.

Furnishing the outdoor space

If the house has a terrace or balcony, this is a bonus that must be taken into account when showcasing the house, as it is something that with a little furniture will be seen as more useful and therefore valuable.
